Overview
Varsity pitcher at Babson. I built the team's analytics platform because I needed better answers on command, Trackman, and delivery, and the program needed one system instead of emailed exports and paper charts. There was no formal analytics title.
How it was used
Before
Trackman lived in exports athletes could not easily use. Game data lived on paper. There was no shared place to connect process metrics to results.
After
Charting let athletes query their own pitch data during the season. Trackman profiles made movement, arm angle, and outing summaries visible to the roster.
Impact
Players could drive their own development with access to their own data. The platform is internal to Babson and used in season.
What I built
- Live pitch charting used in games and practices, with sessions queryable after the outing
- Trackman PDF ingest into movement plots, arm angle, and outing summaries for the roster
- Pitching+ / Command+ / Stuff+ staff-relative scores for development meetings
- Mechanics CV overlays from open-side video, with explicit 2D camera limits
- Built and maintained while pitching; not a formal analytics staff role
